Seagulls metal print by Ric Rice. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This work was created a my studio in Venice Beach during the 70's. It is among the Pacific Stand Time exhibit in Southern California.

About Ric Rice
I am exploring the placement of the values of color with harmonious balance, creating a combination of complementary juxtaposition. Using active brush strokes creates a textured surface where color and form give way to unsuspected depth. These methods allow the imagination to wander into a poetic yet lyrical abstract world. Abstract painting originates from interpreting optical frequencies of color and motion while deciphering its placement.
